BFO COMES BACK TO FORT WORTH

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – Add the BFO Cavender’s “Cowtown Showdown” to your list of reasons to celebrate this Independence Day! When the NFR was in Texas during 2020, BFO put on an epic string of World Championship freestyle bullfights over ten days. Now BFO is back at Cowtown Coliseum on a Saturday night July 1st for one thrilling night of adrenaline-filled competition.
Among those scheduled to compete is the two-time BFO World Champion, Aaron “Mercy” Mercer. “My last Championship was won in Fort Worth, so I can’t wait to be back,” explains the Canadian athlete. “I’ve had some tough luck these past few seasons with injuries and then being runner-up last year. I’m ready to wear that [BFO Championship] belt again.”
The bullpower will be provided by Penthouse Fighting Bulls, based nearby in Lipan, TX. Troy Bradshaw, owner of Penthouse is ready for Fort Worth and the rest of 2023. “I think these bulls are as excited as I am to get the summer season kicked off!”
The BFO Summer Tour is jam-packed with exciting events across the United States. Each athlete will have extra motivation to end the Summer in the Top 4 in the Pendleton Whisky World Standings, thereby earning a spot for compete for $50,000 in bonus money August 19th at The Run For a Million presented by Teton Ridge at South Point in Las Vegas.
The party in Fort Worth on July 1st will start early with an acoustic “BFO Jam” on the front lawn, along with games and beer stands, beginning at 5PM. Show time for The Cavender’s “Cowtown Showdown” is at 8PM.
