MOORMAN HONORED WITH SPECIAL PROCLAMATION
Lytle, Texas – Chance Moorman, the reigning 2025 Bullfighters Only (BFO) World Champion, was celebrated by his hometown with a special proclamation declaring August 3 as “Chance Moorman Day” in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in freestyle bullfighting and his lifelong representation of the Lytle community.
The City of Lytle presented the proclamation during a ceremony on February 9, 2026, led by Mayor Ruben Gonzalez. The award highlighted Moorman’s deep roots in the area, including his attendance at Lytle Primary, Elementary, Junior High, and the inaugural ZEC LA class, as well as his participation in Lytle Youth Sports, Lytle Youth Football, and Lytle Little League from ages 6 to 14.
The proclamation salutes Moorman’s elite career highlights: multiple standalone bullfight victories at rodeos, NASCAR events, and other venues; four appearances at the prestigious, invite-only Rodeo Salinas bullfights; and his status as the 2025 Bullfighters Only World Champion.
This honor follows Moorman’s dominant performance at the 2025 BFO World Championship in Las Vegas (December 11-13), where he captured his first BFO world title after leading the standings and delivering clutch performances throughout the multi-day event presented by Greenstone.
BFO was founded by bullfighters and is Freestyle Bullfighting’s Premier Professional League. BFO features an international roster of elite athletes competing against the most treacherous fighting bulls for the largest purses in the history of the sport. BFO is committed to the humane treatment of our extraordinary animal athletes.
